Forever Nature’s Gift Nutrition is a leading community-centered environmental and wellness organization based in Nairobi, Kenya. Founded with a deep commitment to restoring natural ecosystems and promoting holistic wellbeing, we blend environmental conservation with nutrition and sustainable health practices.
Our mission is to empower communities—especially youth and women—through eco-conscious solutions that improve livelihoods while healing the planet. From reforestation and herbal medicine preservation to nutrition education and quality organic products, we offer an integrated approach to wellness rooted in nature.
We work closely with county governments, local communities, and environmental partners to establish tree nurseries, promote indigenous species, conserve medicinal plants, and foster sustainable agroforestry models. Mr. Kenworth Mutwiri
Tree Nursery Coordinator – Meru County
Department of Environment, Forestry & Natural Resources
Mr. Kenworth Mutwiri is the dedicated lead in charge of Tree Nursery Development and Management in Meru County. With a passion for reforestation and sustainable landscape restoration, he oversees the establishment, nurturing, and distribution of quality tree seedlings across the county’s various ecological zones.
Kenworth plays a vital role in:

Planning and supervising community and school-based nurseries, ensuring they produce climate-resilient and indigenous tree species.

Training youth and women’s groups on nursery management, seed propagation techniques, potting, and transplanting.

Collaborating with conservation partners, CBOs, and KEFRI to maintain high germination rates and seedling quality.

Leading tree distribution drives during the long and short rains, supporting both county-led and national tree planting targets.
His leadership ensures that Meru County remains a strong contributor to Kenya’s forest cover restoration and greening agenda. Mr. Mutwiri’s work also strengthens local livelihoods by turning tree nurseries into income-generating hubs for vulnerable groups.

Mr. Derrick Kimathi
Training of Trainers (T.O.T) Lead – Nairobi County
Department of Environment & Forestry Education
Mr. Derrick Kimathi serves as the Training of Trainers (T.O.T) Coordinator for environmental programs in Nairobi County, with a primary focus on tree planting, forest conservation, and community engagement.
In his role, Derrick designs and leads capacity-building workshops aimed at equipping trainers, teachers, youth leaders, and community champions with practical skills in tree nursery management, indigenous species propagation, and climate-smart forestry techniques. He has successfully developed T.O.T frameworks that are now implemented across schools, ward-based greening committees, and urban greening programs. Derrick is also instrumental in promoting hands-on environmental stewardship, ensuring that trained facilitators not only pass on knowledge, but also inspire long-term behavior change within communities. His curriculum emphasizes holistic environmental education—blending ecological awareness, sustainable practices, and participatory forest management.

Lawrence Mjumbe
Tree Varieties & Soil Testing Lead – Mombasa County
Department of Environment and Natural Resources
Lawrence Mjumbe is a passionate environmental officer responsible for soil testing and selection of suitable tree varieties in Mombasa County. His work is critical to coastal afforestation, mangrove restoration, and urban greening initiatives.
With expertise in soil science and ecosystem restoration, Lawrence ensures that tree planting programs are tailored to local soil conditions, salinity levels, and rainfall patterns. He conducts soil suitability assessments to guide the establishment of indigenous and climate-resilient tree species, both in rural landscapes and within urban green spaces.
Lawrence also leads community sensitization efforts on tree care and soil health, working closely with schools, community groups, and county greening projects. His efforts support Kenya’s broader goals of increasing forest cover, improving biodiversity, and mitigating the effects of climate change—especially in vulnerable coastal zones.
Through his commitment to science-based reforestation, Lawrence continues to drive sustainable change—one tree, one community at a time.

Ms. Mercy Karimi
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Manager
Ms. Mercy Karimi serves as the ICT Manager, providing strategic and technical leadership in the implementation and management of digital infrastructure and innovations. Her role is pivotal in integrating technology into environmental conservation, community development, and organizational operations.
Mercy oversees:

Design and deployment of digital systems for data collection, monitoring, and reporting in tree planting and community training programs.

Cybersecurity and data protection, ensuring that all organizational platforms are secure and compliant with national ICT regulations.

Training of staff and partners on digital tools used in environmental tracking, GPS mapping, and digital nursery management systems.

Development of web platforms and mobile solutions to support public engagement, donations, volunteer tracking, and real-time seedling distribution dashboards.
